**Diontha Fancher**

Diontha Fancher, SHRM-SCP, is the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at DentaQuest, an oral health care company that aims to improve the oral health of everyone. Diontha is a native of Texas and has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science in Human Resources for Health Care from Texas State University.

Diontha joined DentaQuest in 2013, serving as a trusted HR business partner, while simultaneously championing new initiatives to promote inclusion, build mentorship programs and manage immigration services. Most recently, I rose to lead the creation of DentaQuest’s first Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) plan, which includes consulting and advising the leadership team, engaging with employee resource groups and driving a comprehensive DEI plan strategy aligned with corporate goals.

Prior to joining DentaQuest, Diontha worked in various positions in human resources with St. Jude Medical for seven years.

Out of business, Diontha is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and has served in numerous volunteer capacities championing diversity, equality, and inclusion throughout the Austin, Texas community. Diontha resides in the metro Austin area where she enjoys spending time on her family’s registered Black Angus farm, lifting weights and cooking.
